Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Traveling Physical Therapist Opportunity

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Zanesville, OH, working in an inpatient hospital setting. You will help adult and geriatric patients recover from orthopedic, neurosurgical, neurological, cardiovascular, vestibular, and medically complex diagnoses while gaining experience in a Level 3 trauma center. Acute care and post-operative orthopedic/joint replacement experience are relevant to success in this role.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Ohio Physical Therapy license and registry required to start the assignment. Candidates cannot be in-process for licensure.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in acute care or inpatient settings preferred. Client prefers 2 years' acute care experience.
• Familiarity with orthopedic/post-operative joint replacement patients preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfort treating neurosurgical, neurological, cardiovascular (including CABG), vestibular, and medically complex/intubated patients in critical care.
• Prior work in a Level 3 trauma center or with semi-complex patient populations.

Assignment Details

• Day shift with varied start times.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, with one weekend shift per month.
• Prefer five 8-hour shifts or Tuesday–Saturday rotation with flexible start/end times to accommodate joint replacement surgery coverage (examples: 8:00–4:30 or 9:00–5:30).
• May require occasional coverage of 2+ weekend day shifts per month if primarily scheduled M–F.
