This role must be aligned to one of Hoonigan/Wheel Pros’ major operating locations: Denver, CO; Buena Park, CA; or Buford, GA. The successful candidate should be based in, or within reasonable proximity to, or willing to relocate to one of these locations and able to support the business from that hub.

Overview:

\n

The Manager, Tire Programs & Operations owns the day-to-day execution of the tire category and serves as the primary operating partner to the Senior Director, Tires. This role manages dealer programs, supports product and portfolio development, executes pricing updates and new product adds, resolves vendor and warranty issues, supports new program launches and special purchasing requirements, and provides direct tire support to Distribution Center (DC) and Sales teams. This is a cross-functional category execution role, not a traditional buyer position. The role partners closely with Sales, REV Ops, SIOP, Procurement, Finance, Suppliers, and Operations.

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

\n

\n

Product, Programs & Category Development

\n

\n
• Own administration and execution of tire dealer programs and related category initiatives.
\n
• Execute pricing updates and coordinate new products / SKU adds, including system setup with Pricing and the Material Data Team.
\n
• Ensure product information and updates are accurately executed across SAP, DealerLine X, and applicable brand websites, including product specifications, lifecycle/status changes, pricing-related product data, and product imagery.
\n
• Participate in product development and portfolio planning discussions, providing input on market opportunities, product positioning, size assortment, competitive products, pricing, and customer needs.
\n
• Support development of business cases for new tire products and programs, including volume opportunities, initial inventory requirements, competitive positioning, and launch considerations.
\n
• Partner with the Senior Director, Tires, Product, Sales, suppliers, and other stakeholders to help advance future tire product development from concept through commercialization.
\n
• Own cross-functional execution of approved tire program launches, coordinating product setup, pricing, supplier readiness, initial inventory requirements, DC execution, sales support, and launch follow-through.

Promotions & Market Programs

\n

\n
• Branded Programs: Evaluate supplier-provided promotional programs and provide recommendations based on market opportunity, inventory position, financial impact, and category objectives.
\n
• Owned Brand: Identify promotional needs and recommend programs based on market conditions, competitive activity, inventory position, and sales performance.
\n
• Execution: Coordinate and monitor approved promotions with Sales, Marketing, Rev Ops, Finance, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

\n

Vendor & Warranty Management

\n

\n
• Own day-to-day vendor issue resolution and drive follow-through to closure.
\n
• Track and monitor DC tire adjustment rates, identify trends or areas of concern, and report findings to appropriate stakeholders.
\n
• Serve as site administrator for tire warranty and claims platforms, supporting DC and Sales teams with system access, claim submission processes, and issue resolution.
\n
• Provide support to DC and Sales teams on tire warranty and claim-related issues and drive follow-through to resolution

\n

Program Launch & Supply Execution

\n

\n
• Support initial inventory planning and purchasing execution associated with new tire programs, product launches, promotions, and special-buy opportunities.
\n
• Coordinate with SIOP, Finance, suppliers, and DC teams to execute approved launch and special-purchase requirements, including SAP and EDI transactions as required.
\n
• Provide tire-category expertise and supplier context to support SIOP purchasing and inventory decisions, while SIOP retains ownership of ongoing forecasting, replenishment, allocation, and routine buy recommendations.

\n

DC / Sales Support & Reporting

\n

\n
• Serve as the primary inside-sales tire resource for DC General Managers and Sales Managers.
\n
• Analyze tire sales, inventory, program, and operational performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
\n
• Own overstock reporting and compile inputs for month-end tire reporting.
\n
• Coordinate DC and Transportation issues involving tire inventory realignment, partnering with SIOP on exceptions.
\n
• Support employee tire purchase program reporting, including preparation of monthly supplier submissions.
\n

Qualifications:

\n

Required

\n

\n
• 5+ years of experience in category management, product/program management, product development, sales operations, supply chain, or related automotive aftermarket roles; tire industry experience strongly preferred.
\n
• Strong operational and systems capability, including experience with ERP/SAP transactions, product setup, or similar business systems.
\n
• Demonstrated pricing and SKU/product-setup maintenance experience.
\n
• Strong vendor and internal issue-resolution skills, with a track record of driving items to closure.
\n
• Ability to support field and DC teams directly and responsively.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
\n
• Ability to operate independently with limited day-to-day direction.
\n

Preferred

\n

\n
• Experience with EDI purchase order processing.
\n
• Familiarity with warranty/claims administration processes (e.g., Omni United or similar portals).
\n
• Experience supporting purchasing, supplier management, inventory planning, new-program inventory launches, or partnering with SIOP, Procurement, and Finance in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
