Role Description The Legal Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Seattle, WA. This position supports attorneys with day-to-day litigation tasks, including maintain calendars and deadlines, and assist with client intake and communication. Responsibilities include handling administrative tasks such as data entry, document management, and scheduling, while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with court rules. The role requires proactive support to attorneys and clients to help cases move efficiently through the legal system. Qualifications Knowledge of law and legal procedures, with an understanding of litigation or related practice areas. Experience in legal document preparation, including drafting, proofreading, and formatting filings and correspondence. Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with attorneys, clients, and court staff. Administrative assistance and legal assistant experience, including file management, calendaring, and office organization. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines. Proficiency with legal practice software, document management tools, and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office). Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
