About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Employment Counsel to join their dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing practical and business-focused employment law guidance across the organization, with a particular emphasis on a wide range of employment matters including litigation, employee relations, and discrimination and harassment claims. This role requires a strategic legal partner who can represent the company in employment claims, manage outside litigation counsel, and support special projects as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable advice for stakeholders at all levels. Applicants for the Senior Employment Counsel position at the company should have significant experience in advising on complex global workforce issues, with a strong preference for those with in-house experience. The role demands a professional with a strong employment litigation background, the ability to influence senior stakeholders, and a clear and concise communication style. A JD and active bar membership are required, with a preference for candidates licensed in California. The role also calls for a candidate with a strong personal ethical code, integrity, and a deep respect for privacy and confidentiality. The ability to balance legal risk with business objectives, and a comfort with using generative AI tools, is essential.
