If you want to discover a career with greater purpose, join us as we transform and accelerate research and development.Job Summary:Provide professional and technical expertise to perform automated and manual clinical laboratory testing within the Automated Chemistry area, ensuring accurate and timely results that support clinical research and patient care. This role operates within the scope of a valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards.What You'll Be Doing:Perform and report automated and manual clinical laboratory testing with minimal supervisionVerify quality control results and release laboratory results in accordance with licensing and regulatory requirementsMaintain laboratory inventory, prepare reagents, and ensure equipment and testing materials are available for daily operationsTroubleshoot laboratory processes and communicate testing irregularities that may impact resultsSupport assay validations, assay improvements, and implementation of new testing configurationsMaintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, GCLP, safety, quality, and company proceduresParticipate in audits, inspections, continuing education, and training activitiesSupport special projects and other laboratory responsibilities as assignedWhat We Are Looking For:Valid Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) license requiredBachelor's Degree requiredUp to 5 years of relevant experience in a regulated laboratoryWorking knowledge of Good Clinical Laboratory Practices (GCLP), CLIA requirements, and applicable regulatory standardsProficiency with complex laboratory testing procedures, laboratory instrumentation, and quality control processesOther equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degreeThe Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:Strong technical knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and laboratory safety practicesEffective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong attention to detail and ability to establish productive working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clientsPhysical Demands Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
