Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient responses, and assist in procedures as directed.
- Monitor and respond to patient status, maintain safety protocols, and support patient advocacy in the OR.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the broader care team to plan and execute safe, evidence-based care.
- Document care accurately, educate patients and families about the plan of care, and support transitions of care.
- Adhere to HIPAA requirements and model a Just Culture while aligning with organizational values.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in Colorado or a valid compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
- HIPAA compliant
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operating room environment in a travel assignment
