Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a dependable and physically capable Warehouse Associate to support order fulfillment, inventory management, and material handling operations. This is a hands-on role requiring forklift and order picker experience, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare orders accurately for shipment
• Load, unload, and organize materials, including bags, boxes, and loose items
• Put away and store inventory in proper warehouse locations
• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, as well as order pickers (up to 20 feet)
• Maintain inventory accuracy and proper storage practices
• Read and follow work orders and pick sheets to ensure correct order fulfillment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Support overall warehouse operations and material handling tasks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
• At least 1 year of sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, and order picker experience
• Comfortable working at heights up to 20 feet
• Ability to read and understand work orders and pick sheets
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
• Ability to perform physical tasks (bending, twisting, pulling, standing) throughout the shift
• Stable work history with no employment gaps exceeding 3 months (unless explained)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in wholesale distribution (e.g., home improvement or supply chain environments)
• Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control
• Ability to quickly learn warehouse systems and material handling processes
