Senior Design Engineer The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for projects related product application, fulfillment, and technical support. This position will require some overnight travel to manufacturing facilities and installation locations in the U.S. for on-site technical support. Responsibilities Manage project design & fulfillment Evaluation of the ventilation solution designed by the project engineering team Provide on-site and off-site installation training and consulting for subcontractor network/customer on product application Project documentation Generate technical drawings Inform the manufacturing team with information on the quantity and type of products required for a project Provide project technical support Perform quality reviews of work and documentation created by junior engineers Requirements Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university (or equivalent experience) 7 to 10 years experience in design/applications engineering. Construction industry experience, metal fabrication experience, and basic electrical controls experience preferred Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS Knowledge of AutoCAD LT, Draftsight, or ANSYS Mechanical is preferred Experience in technical writing Knowledge of the structural, mechanical, performance, codes & standards applicable to the products Interpersonal skills and problem‑solving ability to solicit input from multiple sources and determine the best technical solution #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
