Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Cicero, IL

Position Overview A rewarding opportunity awaits a bilingual Speech‑Language Pathologist passionate about supporting students in a dynamic educational setting for the 26/27 school year. Work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, primarily serving students in kindergarten through 9th grade, with a focus on mild‑to‑moderate needs. The caseload includes 14 students with IEPs and 9 additional consult cases, most of whom are in sixth grade or younger. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated case manager, sharing office space to foster ongoing communication and resource sharing. You’ll utilize Embrace IEP software to streamline and optimize your workflow. Desired Qualifications Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish Valid Illinois SLP license required Professional Educator License (PEL) required Experience with pediatric populations, especially in school‑based settings Knowledge of IEP processes and experience with Embrace software preferred Open to SLP‑CCC and Clinical Fellowship Year applicants committed to supporting diverse learner needs Key Responsibilities Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students on an IEP Provide direct and consultative services to students in a collaborative environment Maintain ongoing communication with educators and families Accurately document services and progress using Embrace Foster an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere Benefits and Compensation This contract role offers flexibility while making a genuine difference in students’ lives.
