Infection Preventionist

Thrive Behavioral Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Infection Prevention Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about patient safety and driving best practices in infection control. Key Responsibilities: Oversee infection prevention protocols and ensure regulatory compliance Conduct surveillance, reporting, and staff education related to infection control Collaborate with department leaders to maintain a safe, sanitary environment Lead outbreak response and root cause investigations as needed Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections Requirements: Active RN or LPN license in Nevada Infection Prevention or related clinical experience preferred Strong knowledge of CDC, OSHA, and state-specific guidelines Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills Able to work independently and collaboratively with teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
