Responsibilities
- Provide obstetric nursing care to laboring patients and newborns
- Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) as assigned
- Assist during labor and delivery and provide immediate newborn care
- Administer medications and perform routine assessments per plan of care
- Collaborate with the obstetrics team to respond to emergencies and ensure patient safety
- Document care and maintain accurate records in the electronic health record

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of assignment (New York)
- Current BLS certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Labor and Delivery and Newborn care experience; minimum 2 years in the field
- EFM experience preferred; STABLE certification preferred
- COVID vaccine not required; Flu vaccine or declination accepted; mask required if declining
