Overview
Registered Nurse - OB/GYN travel assignment in Ogdensburg, NY. This obstetrics RN position starts on 09/14/2026 for a 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The shift is 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on a 3x12-day schedule in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,101 to $2,203.

Responsibilities
- Provide obstetric nursing care for laboring patients, including monitoring contractions and fetal status with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)
- Administer medications, manage pain relief, assist with labor and delivery procedures
- Support newborn care immediately after birth, perform initial assessments, and assist with newborn procedures
- Collaborate with the obstetric team, physicians, and support staff; document care in the electronic medical record
- Adhere to patient safety, infection control, and evidence-based obstetric protocols; respond to obstetric emergencies; participate in rounds and care planning
- Support postpartum care and discharge planning as appropriate

Requirements
- Current RN license in New York (state of assignment)
- BLS certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Labor and Delivery and newborn care experience; at least 2 years of recent OB/L&D experience
- Ability to work in a hospital OB/L&D setting; effective communication and teamwork skills

Education
- Active RN license in New York; completion of an accredited nursing program

Certifications and credentials noted in Job Notes
- NRP and BLS required; EFM knowledge and STABLE certification preferred
