PLC/HMI Programmer

Salary: $63,000 - 103,000 per year Requirements:

• 5 years of experience programming PLCs, HMIs, and RTUs.
• Experience with PLC/HMI platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Idec, and Modicon; HMI development or configuration using Idec, Beijer, Red Lion, or PanelView; and RTUs, EFM devices, and VFDs such as ROC 107/800 and ABB TotalFlow.
• Familiarity with communication protocols and radio systems, including Freewave, Xetawave, Cambium, and Ubiquiti; TCP/IP networking; Modbus; and interpreting electrical and process and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs).
• Previous project management experience.
• Oil and gas field automation, instrumentation, process controls, or field engineering experience is preferred.
• A degree in industrial electrical/electronics, instrumentation, or process controls is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and work Monday through Friday with weekend availability. Willingness to travel and take part in standby, prearranged, or call-out duties is required.

• Program automation and control systems involving PLCs, HMIs, and RTUs for oil and gas field or plant environments.
• Work with customers to identify required automation and control functionality and deliver the associated programming.
• Design, plan, manage, install, start up, and commission automation and control systems, and prepare related documentation.
• Perform instrumentation calibrations, loop tuning, troubleshooting, communications installations, and SCADA integration as needed.
• Support projects involving well-pad installations, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, compressor stations, salt-water disposals, and plants.
