Assistant Financial Controller

Role Summary We are seeking a hands-on Assistant Controller to support both TIPLER Design and TIPLER Design & Build .This role is responsible for full-cycle accounting, day-to-day financial management for the Design entity, weekly accounts payable processing, and supporting accounting functions for the Construction entity. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales tax, and journal entries Sort, code, and match invoices to purchase orders Partner with the design team on purchase orders, project tracking, and client proposals Process weekly check runs, including vendor lien waivers; scan and attach supporting documentation Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Code and enter credit card transactions Prepare and file monthly sales tax reports Maintain sales and work-in-progress (WIP) tracking in Excel Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations Perform month-end close and prepare draft financial statements Work closely with the Controller and CFO on reporting and financial analysis Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred; however, candidates with significant relevant experience in a similar accounting role will also be considered. Experience 2–8 years of experience in financial reporting, job costing, and general ledger accounting.
