Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job

Overview Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D), Brunswick, Georgia, United States. This is a travel, temporary assignment for 13 weeks in a hospital setting. Start date: 06/08/2026. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (3 per week). Responsibilities Provide labor and postpartum nursing care for obstetric patients, including triage of admissions and ongoing assessment. Circulate during labor and assist with deliveries as appropriate; recover patients in PACU and monitor post-delivery status. Administer medications, manage IV therapy, monitor maternal and fetal well-being, and respond to obstetric emergencies. Deliver postpartum care for the mother and newborn (couplet care), including education, breastfeeding support, and discharge planning. Collaborate with obstetric team, anesthesia, and neonatal staff; document care accurately in the electronic medical record; uphold infection control and patient safety standards. Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia (in good standing). Experience in labor and delivery and postpartum nursing. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts and travel to the assignment location. Strong patient-centered communication and teamwork skills within an obstetric setting.
