Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery nursing care for laboring patients and postpartum patients
- Triage obstetric patients and determine appropriate level of care
- Circulate during labor and delivery and assist with obstetric procedures as needed
- Recover patients in PACU and monitor postpartum recovery for mother and newborn (couplet care)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and document care accurately
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia, and neonatal teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, respond to emergencies, and implement postpartum care plans

Requirements
- Registered Nurse license (active) to practice in the United States
- Experience in labor and delivery and postpartum care preferred
- Ability to perform triage, circulating duties, PACU recovery, and postpartum couplet care
- Willingness to work nights (12-hour shifts) and adapt to a high-acuity obstetric environment
- Travel-friendly with availability for a 5-week assignment
