MacOS Developer

Role MacOS Developer with Java/Python + AI Knowledge/Only W2 Location Sunnyvale, CA Position Type Onsite position Job Description We are looking for an experienced macOS developer with some experience in Java and Python with AI Knowledge to design, develop, debug, and maintain native macOS applications and platform components for Apple's engineering environment. Ex-Apple candidates are preferred for the role. Key Responsibilities Design and develop native macOS applications using Swift and Objective-C. Build and maintain applications using AppKit, Cocoa and other Apple frameworks. Develop modern user interfaces using SwiftUI where applicable. Use Xcode for development, debugging, profiling and testing. Implement multithreaded and concurrent applications using GCD, async/await and Swift concurrency. Troubleshoot complex application, memory, performance and system-level issues. Work with APIs, networking, REST/JSON and local data persistence where required. Write unit and UI tests using XCTest / XCUITest. Work with Git and modern CI/CD processes. Review code and contribute to architecture, design and technical documentation. Collaborate with Apple/Infosys engineering teams in an Agile development environment. Must-Have Skills Swift Strong Objective-C Strong macOS Development Xcode Cocoa / AppKit SwiftUI Object-Oriented Programming Multithreading / GCD / Swift Concurrency Git Debugging & Performance Optimization XCTest / Unit Testing Strong understanding of macOS architecture and Apple frameworks Apple's current Sunnyvale macOS role specifically calls for substantial Swift experience, shipped macOS desktop software, Swift concurrency, modular architecture and Xcode-based development.
