Position Overview As a Branch Banker within PNC's Retail Banking organization, you will be based in Mahwah, NJ. Responsibilities Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through a variety of proactive sales and service activities. Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer's financial wellbeing. Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customer's share of wallet. Position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty. Drive proactive sales conversations through a defined sales process including outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement. Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate PNC solutions. Leverage ecosystem partnerships as well as community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships. Expand customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience. Engage customers in the lobby to connect and position PNC products to meet their needs. Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources. Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively. Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits. Demonstrate heightened scrutiny to identify and avoid loss. Participate in branch daily operations, ensuring efficient and accurate completion. Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent, or a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience (including military service). 3+ years of related experience in banking or retail financial services. Accountability, banking knowledge, client loyalty, customer experience (CX), customer service, identifying opportunities, leveraging technology, proactive sales competencies, banking products, digital awareness, effective communications, managing multiple priorities, matrix management, problem solving, prospecting, retail lending, selling, and understanding customer needs.
