Specimen Management Specialist

Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Management team in Rogers, AR. Work schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM; additional hours as needed. Job Responsibilities Act as a liaison between the lab, clients, and patients. Resolve internal and external customer requests via calls, instant messenger, and email communications. Communicate with customers in a respectful and professional manner. Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions. Provide customer education and information as needed. Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies. Prepare and triage specimens for analysis. Accurately identify and label specimens. Pack and ship specimens as necessary. Prepare and store excess specimen samples. Minimum Qualification High school diploma or GED equivalent. One or more years of experience in customer support or client‑facing roles. Preferred Qualification Current or prior LabCorp experience. Associate's degree or higher. One or more years of experience in a medical/clinical laboratory. Job Standards Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with laboratory operations, policies, and procedures. Comfortable handling biological specimens. Ability to accurately identify specimens. Experience working in a team environment. Strong data entry and organizational skills. High level of attention to detail. Proficient in MS Office.
