ATTORNEY – PLAINTIFF PERSONAL INJURY LITIGATION

COMPENSATION

• Base Salary: $80,000 - $150,000 annually.

• Performance-based bonus opportunities.

• Total Compensation Potential: $150,000 - $200,000+ based on performance.

Their attorneys are committed to taking cases to trial when it is in the client's best interest, supported by experienced staff, modern technology, and a collaborative team environment.

The firm is seeking an experienced Attorney who can independently manage a plaintiff personal injury litigation caseload from intake through resolution. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently manage a plaintiff personal injury litigation caseload from intake through final resolution.

• Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, settlement negotiations, court appearances, and trial.

• Manage motor vehicle accident and premises liability matters.

• Work directly with clients throughout the litigation process while providing exceptional communication and client service.

• Collaborate with experienced attorneys on case strategy and complex legal issues while maintaining ownership of your caseload.

• Supervise and work closely with an assigned paralegal and receptionist.

• Manage an initial caseload of approximately 100 files, growing to an average of 150 active cases after ramp-up.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Connecticut Bar license required.

• Minimum of 5 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience required; candidates with 10+ years of experience are encouraged to apply.

• Proven ability to independently manage litigation matters from intake through resolution.

• Experience handling depositions, discovery, motion practice, mediations, court appearances, settlement negotiations, and trial.

• Strong legal writing, courtroom advocacy, client communication, and time management skills.

• Workers' compensation experience preferred.

• Medical malpractice experience is a plus.

• Candidates who can immediately assume responsibility for an active litigation caseload are strongly preferred.
