You are responsible for planning, managing, reviewing, and completing client engagements. You provide proactive tax-saving strategies and profitability recommendations for clients while helping to attract new business, strengthen client relationships, and serve as a key point of contact for designated clients.Our professionals have one goal in mind when working with clients – to help them minimize their tax liability while keeping them in compliance with ever-changing tax laws. In addition to providing consulting and compliance tax services, our professionals offer several additional services, including stock option planning and international tax advice. We also provide expert consultation regarding tax implications on investments, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and liquidations.Duties/Responsibilities:Manage and review complex federal, state, and international tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.Understand client's business needs, identify and analyze tax issues, and clearly articulate relevant tax issues, application of authority, and conclusionsLead tax engagements from start to finish, including planning, budgeting and monitoring fees, execution, and deliveryDevelop and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service and understanding their business needs.Ensure timely and accurate filing of client tax returns, meeting all regulatory deadlinesReview work performed by team members, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality and accuracyStrong analytical skills and attention to detail, including the ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulationsExtensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulationsStrong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines simultaneouslyEducation and Experience:A Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Accounting.Active CPA license5+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience.Expertise in individual, corporate, and pass-through taxation.Proven expertise in overseeing complex client engagements and delivering high-quality client serviceAbility to develop tax planning strategies for clients.Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g, CCH Axcess) and Microsoft Office SuiteExperience supervising, training, developing, and reviewing the work of staff and senior associates
