Human Resources Co-op

Beam Therapeutics

Beam Therapeutics seeks a Human Resources Co-op from January through June 2027 to support HR operations, process improvement, and compliance initiatives. The role involves reviewing HR processes, auditing personnel files, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen organizational practices.

Responsibilities

Review HR processes and personnel files for regulatory compliance and policy alignment
Audit personnel files for completeness, consistency, and proper document management
Research and develop HR record-retention schedules in collaboration with Legal
Evaluate key HR workflows including onboarding, offboarding, and communications

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or pursuing studies in human resources, business, or related field
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with HR compliance, recordkeeping, and regulatory requirements preferred
Excellent communication and collaborative skills
