Highlights Location: Edison, NJ Facility: JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You Will Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions to attain expected outcomes. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Identify ethical issues in the practice setting and address them with the team. Adhere to HMH's organizational and managerial competencies and standards of behavior. Requirements Education Associate in Nursing or Diploma of Nursing required; BSN in progress or to be acquired within three years of hire. Experience Six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey. BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.
