Staff Pharmacist – Specialty Infusion Pharmacy

Location: Syracuse, NY or Rochester, NY – On-site
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: $125,000–$146,000

Position: Full-Time, Direct Hire

M&M Strategic Staffing Solutions is recruiting an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a growing specialty infusion pharmacy with opportunities in Syracuse and Rochester, NY .

This is an excellent opportunity for a New York licensed pharmacist with strong clinical judgment and IV therapy experience who is interested in specialty and home infusion pharmacy.

What You'll Do

• Review infusion orders and patient therapies for safety and clinical appropriateness
• Provide clinical pharmacy services supporting specialty infusion patients
• Perform sterile compounding and TPN review
• Oversee IV admixture and sterile compounding activities
• Maintain patient records and care plans
• Evaluate and monitor drug therapy based on each patient's clinical needs
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure USP, cleanroom and pharmacy regulatory compliance
• Train and support pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Participate in clinical rounds
• Support quality initiatives and operational improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; PharmD or MS in Pharmacy preferred
• Current Registered Pharmacist license in New York State
• Strong knowledge and experience with IV admixture services and intravenous therapy
• Strong clinical judgment and medication-management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses and interdisciplinary care teams
• Ability to supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy staff
• Excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years of recent acute-care pharmacy experience, or
• 1+ year of recent home infusion therapy experience
• Sterile compounding and TPN experience
• Specialty or home infusion pharmacy experience

This position offers the opportunity to move beyond traditional retail pharmacy and play an important role in the care of patients receiving complex infusion therapies.

Salary range: $125,000–$146,000
