We are seeking a part-time, afternoon Speech Language Pathologist to join our team! You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement treatment plans for speech and language disorders
- Incorporate evidence based practices into the therapeutic setting
- Utilize standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of communication disorders
- Establish treatment goals and objective with clients and communicate them to the parents/caregivers
- Document treatment plans, SOAP notes, and progress reports
- Update patient progress and share with caregivers
- Include parents in sessions of their child, regularly
- Provide after-school therapy hours, in-person at our clinic
Qualifications:
- Certification in the State of Maryland as a Speech Language Pathologist, CCC-SLP
- 3 years or more of previous experience working with pediatrics in speech pathology
- Ability to build rapport with children, parents, and coworkers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive and patient demeanor
