About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Commercial AI Transformation and Delivery. This executive leadership role is pivotal in owning the vision, strategy, and delivery of artificial intelligence across the commercial organization. The successful candidate will lead a portfolio of AI and data initiatives in sales, marketing, and medical, with a strong focus on turning AI ambition into real, value-creating capabilities. Responsibilities include end-to-end delivery, organization and talent leadership, vendor and partner management, and ensuring that AI initiatives align with the company's standards and goals. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in AI, enterprise transformation, and the ability to influence and partner with senior executives. Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive leadership in technology, data and AI, digital, or product delivery, with a significant background in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare industry. The role requires a leader with a deep understanding of the commercial environment and its regulatory context. Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for an advanced degree or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in AI/ML, experience in leading large-scale transformation, and a proven ability to build and scale new capabilities. The role is not just about technology; it is also about leading people and driving a cultural shift towards AI-enabled ways of working.
