About the Role
We are seeking a Jr. Mechanical Engineer to support mechanical design and development for medical devices and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with SolidWorks, 3D CAD, prototyping, GD&T, testing, and design verification.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D CAD models, mechanical designs, fabrication, and assembly drawings.
• Perform mechanical analysis, tolerance analysis, prototyping, and troubleshooting.
• Develop test methods, fixtures, verification protocols, and technical reports.
• Support fabrication, inspection, testing, and prototype tooling activities.
• Analyze test data and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support project planning and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Medical device/equipment design experience.
• Knowledge of DFM/DFA, GD&T, mechanical testing, and statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, ISO 7198, and GMP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with injection molding, sheet metal, machining, extrusion, or additive manufacturing.
• Knowledge of electromechanical or electro-pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project.
