Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Hartford, CT | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 36 hours per week, Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for emergency patients across the acuity spectrum
• Respond to and manage trauma cases in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut or compact eligibility
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• ENPC or PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume emergency department
• Strong critical thinking and triage assessment skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, high-acuity environment
