Step into a meaningful role supporting the communication needs of elementary and preschool learners in a vibrant school setting near Boston, MA! This contract opportunity welcomes Speech Language Pathologists passionate about working with young students and making a positive impact each day. You’ll provide vital assessment and intervention for a caseload of approximately 45 students, collaborating with a dedicated team of educators on site.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist license (Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply)
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or early childhood speech-language services preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to create engaging, individualized therapy plans
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary and preschool students in-person
- Assess, plan, and implement evidence-based interventions based on individual student needs
- Maintain diligent documentation for student progress and IEP compliance
- Consult regularly with teachers, families, and allied professionals
- Participate in meetings, contributing your expertise to student support teams
