Patient Escort - Per-Diem - Days - 0.15This position is responsible for the safe, comfortable, courteous, and timely transport of patients via prescribed transport vehicles.Core Job Responsibilities:Responsible for working with the nursing staff to assist in the patient care related to the transfer and transport of the patient to and from the nursing unitResponsible for the delivery of equipment and reallocation of transport devices to various areas within the organizationGreeting customers/ patients and responding to their needs questions in the main lobbyEnsures a clean and safe environment by maintaining safety standards and performing cleaning in the main lobby as neededPerform other duties as requiredEducation/Experience Requirements:Required: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experiencePreferred: Knowledge of computer/phone systems. Prior experience in a hospital setting. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
