This on-site role offers the opportunity to support middle school students and collaborate with dedicated educators near Aurora, IL. A bilingual professional fluent in both Spanish and English is sought to ensure clear and supportive communication with diverse student populations and their families.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an IL Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement and a current IL SLP license
• Clinical Certificate of Competence (SLP-CCC) required
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
• Experience working with school-aged children, especially middle school, preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload averaging about 45 students, adhering to state guidelines
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to middle school students in accordance with IEP goals
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to support students’ academic and social success
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports meeting all school and state requirements
• Support either one middle school site or work itinerantly between campuses as assigned
