Job Description
We are looking for a skilled, experienced Purchasing Agent. Ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail.
Experienced in managing a "live" inventory with many vendors.
This position is central to the success of our business.
Qualifications
3-5 years experience preferably (but not required) in a distribution business.
Knowledge of purchasing best practices.
Working knowledge of ERP software and MS office.
Outstanding organization skills.
Respsonsibilities
Run daily stock status reports.
Track lead times and ETAs of orders.
Receive items into inventory
Review vendor invoices.
Make inventory adjustments and update vendor records.

49 years in business under same owners. We are replacing a retiring buyer who has been here 15 years.
