Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Zeeland, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional customer service and clear communication, using computer or tablet tools and alarm panels as needed. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.58 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or hazards. Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and contractor entry in accordance with site requirements; report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel. Document patrol findings, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
