About MJ Granite The Role We're hiring a full-time Stone Sales Consultant to be the person customers work with when they walk through our doors. You'll guide homeowners, designers, and contractors through selecting the right slab for their project — color, movement, durability, budget — and carry the sale through to coordinating with their fabricator. You'll also keep inventory accurate and our showroom and slab yard looking their best, because how the stone is presented is how it sells. Schedule Full-time, on-site, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM | Every other Saturday, 9 AM–2 PM Compensation This role starts with a base salary during a 90-day onboarding period. Upon successful completion, a commission structure is added on top of base pay. What You'll Do Welcome and guide homeowners, designers, and contractors through our slab selection Help customers choose stone based on their project, style, durability needs, and budget Coordinate quotes and material purchases with customers' fabricators Keep slab inventory accurate and respond promptly to customer inquiries Maintain a clean, well-presented showroom and slab yard Build repeat relationships with the designers and fabricators who send us business What We're Looking For Must-haves: Customer-facing sales or service experience where you guided people to a decision — retail, design, hospitality, or similar Genuinely enjoy helping people and can build trust quickly with a customer making a big, unfamiliar purchase Comfortable occasionally stepping into the slab yard with customers — this is primarily an office and showroom role but you'll spend time on your feet when needed Organized and reliable — you follow through without being chased Solid basic computer skills; you'll learn our inventory system quickly Experience with stone, countertops, kitchen and bath design, or building materials An eye for design — the ability to help a customer visualize the finished space We'll train the right person on stone.
