Regional Director of OperationsStamford, Connecticut, United StatesThe objective of this role is to lead and manage multiple dental practice locations, ensuring operational efficiency, financial performance, and compliance with regulatory standards. The purpose is to build and maintain strong relationships with partner doctors and practice leaders, drive strategic growth initiatives, mentor and develop office managers and practice leaders, and champion change management efforts to achieve organizational goals.The assigned territory includes CT, MA, NH, VT, ME, and Upstate/Western NY encompassing approximately 14 practices, 36+ providers, and $54.5 million in annual revenue.Primary Responsibilities:Set and execute monthly travel plans to visit direct reports and engage with partner practices.Build strong relationships with partner doctors, practice leaders, and team members.Onboard new associates through regular communication, partnering with them, and monitoring their growth.Attend weekly field visits, leading by example and engaging with the entire team.Identify focus areas: financials, human resources/recruitment, strategic initiatives, revenue cycle management and payer relations, accounts payable, procurement, and marketing.Influence and implement change, standardizing plans and growth initiatives.Communicate organizational vision, strategic initiatives, and operational changes effectively to leadership and team members, ensuring understanding, alignment, and successful implementation across all assigned locations.Mentor and develop Office Managers/Practice Leaders, aligning IDP plans for growth opportunities.Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with managers, build strong relationships with partner surgeons and associates, and provide tools with measurable goals.Identify growth opportunities for practices to grow organically, manage costs, and improve the bottom line.Engage monthly MORs, develop SMART action plans, prepare detailed plans for hotspot practices, and measure results.Identify operational inefficiencies and best practices to drive organic growth.Manage compliance issues in partnership with the compliance team, VP of Operations, and Compliance department.Ensure regulatory requirements and company SOPs are met.Focus on employee retention, engagement, and champion companywide initiatives.Lead the coding initiative to ensure effective implementation of recommended coding changes.Align MBO goals around best practices and practice optimization initiatives.Maintain strong communication with VP of Operations to meet goals, standardize processes, and streamline communication with other department heads.Concur practice approvals and escalate to VP for final approval.Review all bonuses and increases with VP of Operations and follow the approval process.Requirements:Minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably in dental or medical practices.Proven track record in managing multiple locations and teams.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.Strong leadership and team-building skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to influence and drive change effectively.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in financial management and understanding of P&L statements.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.Proficiency with practice management software and other relevant technology.Ability to travel regularly to various practice locations.High level of integrity and professionalism.Strong commitment to employee development and retention.Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Willingness to work flexible hoursWork Conditions:Must be able to meet the travel requirementsMust be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time.Must be able to reach overhead as needed.Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to maintain attention to detail for extended periods.Must be able to operate standard office equipment.Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, if required.Benefits:Annual bonus planBCBS High Deductible & PPO Medical insurance OptionsVSP Vision CoverageBCBS PPO Dental InsuranceComplimentary Life Insurance PolicyShort-term & Long-Term DisabilityPet Insurance Coverage401(k) PlanHSA / FSA Account AccessIdentity Theft ProtectionLegal Services PackageHospital/Accident/Critical Care CoveragePaid Time OffDiverse and Inclusive Work EnvironmentStrong culture of honesty and teamworkAbout Us:Specialty1 Partners is a practice services organization committed to providing non-clinical, business support services to the nation's leading specialty dental practices.
