Where is the work:

On-Site (5 days)

Responsibilities:

• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.

• Operate a Fork Truckas well as drive a fleet vehicle,(small box truck).

• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

• Establish & maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

• Dependability -requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.

• Attention to Detail -requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.

• Responsible for staging, shipping, and receiving parts, equipment, and supplies.

• Deliver parts to customer locations or job sites.

• Practices safe material handling techniques, regularly using pallet jacks, forklifts, dollies, material carts, and rolling ladders.

• Filing of freight bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc. for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes.

• Receives, inspects, and stocks shipments.

• Keep warehouse area clean and orderly/neat.

• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License

• Must be able to qualify for the Company's fleet insurance and maintain a satisfactory driving record with good driving record with no to very minimal traffic violations.

• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.

• Verify the contents of inventory deliveries against shipping papers.

• Load and unload deliveries.

• Follow safety procedures for vehicle operation.

• Must be able to receive information or instructions for performing work assignments.

• Safely drive and skillfully operate the Supply delivery truck to destinations.

• Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and reports any discrepancies indicating truck condition to manager.

Key Competencies:

The position requires good eyesight, hearing and physical condition. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to routinely perform a number of heavy physical tasks. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and effectively communicate with others. The employee frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. The employee must be able to regularly push and pull loaded pallet jacks and material carts. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
