Provide essential pharmacy support as a PRN Staff Pharmacist responsible for coverage and standby duties in San Antonio, Texas. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to a newly established pharmacy operation specializing in specialty infusion services for hospice and palliative care patients. You will primarily cover day shifts, with specific hours determined by the pharmacy’s schedule, offering flexibility and the chance to engage with a compassionate patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmacy coverage during the pharmacy manager’s vacations and planned absences.
• Manage and dispense specialty infusion medications for hospice and palliative care patients.
• Collaborate within a small, dedicated pharmacy team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Participate in a scheduled training day prior to any coverage shift to ensure preparedness.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Experience in specialty or infusion pharmacy strongly preferred.
• Hospice or palliative care pharmacy experience highly valued.
• Demonstrates a compassionate, patient-focused approach in sensitive care settings.
• Comfortable working in a small team environment.
• Reliable availability on a PRN basis through the remainder of 2026.
• Local to San Antonio with no travel accommodations necessary.
