A part-time contract opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a school-based setting, with a focus on supporting students and staff through evidence-based behavioral practices. This onsite position near Tucson, AZ, runs from 09/08/2026 through 05/25/2027 and offers 28 hours per week.
You’ll lead a district-level behavior team, collaborating closely with educators, families, and paraprofessionals to foster positive outcomes for students. Your expertise will drive the development of effective interventions and professional growth among staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Prior experience working within school settings preferred
- Familiarity with supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Strong understanding of student observation and functional behavior assessment techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to write comprehensive Behavioral Implementation Plans (BIPs)
- Demonstrated capability to provide consultation and professional development on behavior modification
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a district-wide team focused on positive behavioral support
- Supervise RBTs, guiding their day-to-day responsibilities
- Conduct student observations and perform thorough functional behavior assessments
- Consult with school staff and parents, fostering collaborative partnerships
- Develop, write, and monitor individualized BIPs
- Deliver engaging professional development sessions on behavior modification methods
