Salary up to $300,000 + Bonus

An established international consultancy is looking to appoint a Director / Senior Director-level Cost Management professional to help lead and grow its West Coast operation.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced cost professional who combines strong technical capability with a hands-on approach to delivery, client management, and team leadership.

The business is open-minded on background and sector experience and is primarily focused on finding someone commercially sharp, credible with clients, and capable of driving projects and people forward.

The Opportunity

• Lead and grow an established Cost Management team across the West Coast
• Take ownership of major client relationships and project delivery
• Help shape and expand the regional business throughout California and the wider West Coast market
• Work closely with senior leadership across the wider US operation
• Opportunity to make a genuine impact within a business investing heavily in growth
• Remain hands-on with clients, business development, and key project delivery

What They're Looking For

• Director or Senior Director-level experience within Cost Management / Quantity Surveying
• Strong technical cost expertise across complex construction projects
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to support delivery teams directly
• Commercially aware and capable of developing and maintaining client relationships
• Ability to contribute to business growth and potentially bring existing relationships/work
• US market experience preferred, although international candidates with relevant exposure will also be considered

Package

• Base salary anticipated in the region of $200,000 – $300,000+ depending on experience
• Bonus structure available
• Flexible for the right individual
