Senior Accountant Opportunity

Our client is in the construction industry covering the three counties seeking a Senior Accountant to join their state-of-the-art Fort Lauderdale office who will be responsible for supporting the accounting functions of the company. Salary, benefits, and a nice team environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Financial reporting, project accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• A strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work closely with project managers and senior management to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry, must be a team player!
