Senior Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Associate Attorney in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role involves managing a litigation portfolio, advising clients, and leading within the firm. The position is ideal for an experienced attorney who excels in a fast-paced environment and can independently manage complex litigation from inception to resolution. Duties Independently manage a portfolio of litigation matters through all case phases. Draft, review, and argue pleadings, motions, and other litigation filings. Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trials throughout Florida. Analyze legal issues and provide practical legal advice. Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Ensure compliance with laws, court rules, and ethical obligations. Mentor junior attorneys and legal support staff. Requirements Excellent litigation, research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Strong strategic thinking and legal judgment. Ability to manage a substantial litigation caseload independently. Exceptional attention to detail and high-quality work product. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build productive relationships. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Active membership in The Florida Bar in good standing. Skills Five or more years of civil litigation experience preferred. Experience in foreclosure, bankruptcy, mortgage servicing, creditors' rights, or real property litigation preferred but not required.
