Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Electrophysiology Technician \n Discipline: Allied Health Professional \n Duration: 13 weeks \n 40 hours per week \n Shift: 10 hours, days \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n Requirements / Hard Stops\n \n 2 years EP Tech experience \n BLS – Required \n ACLS – Required \n Must have the required EP/Cath Lab skills listed by the facility \n Epic charting experience \n No local candidates \n Permanent address must be 50 miles from the facility \n Valid state license required; pending license may be submitted, with processing taking approximately 10–12 weeks \n Must be willing to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals \n Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's \n Required Skills / Experience\n The facility specifically emphasizes the following areas: \n \n Electrophysiology Evaluation \n Cardiac ablation & mapping \n Pacemaker insertion \n AICD insertion/programming \n Cardioversion \n Conduction studies \n Rhythm interpretation \n Diagnostic & interventional cardiac cath \n Cardiac stent placement \n Hemodynamic monitoring \n Impella insertion \n Temporary pacemaker \n TAVR \n LAA closure \n Structural heart procedures \n Interventional Radiology \n Stroke thrombectomy \n Embolization \n Angiography / endovascular interventions \n Sterile technique / maintaining sterile field \n Equipment setup \n \n Preferred: CTO, peripheral procedures, venous access, Philips X-Ray, atherectomy/thrombectomy devices, temporary LVAD support. \n About Care Career\n \n Care Career brings together a portfolio of leading healthcare staffing organizations, each delivering specialized talent solutions across the industry.
