Orthopedic NP/PA

Position Description: Oswego Health is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team with the Center for Orthopedic Care. This candidate will conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations for general orthopedic patients to include joint replacement, upper extremity, lower extremity and sports medicine. Order, interpret and follow-up on diagnostic tests, including imaging studies and labs. Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care in an outpatient setting. Provide patient education regarding procedures, treatment options and recovery plans. Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists and other members of an interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes. This full-time position is ideal for an Advanced Practice Clinician who has 1-2 years of post-graduate experience, preferably in Orthopedics or a Primary Care setting.
