Customer Service Representative Location: Farmingdale, NY

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:45 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

What You'll Do As our Full-Cycle CSR, you will manage orders from inception to final distribution, serving as the primary point of contact for our valued customers.

What We're Looking For

• ERP Experience: Hands-on experience with Sage 100 (highly preferred) or a similar ERP system.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Outlook and comfort working in a paperless environment.
• Analytical Eye: Exceptional attention to detail with proven experience in data verification or matching.
• Proactive Mindset: An inquisitive self-starter who naturally asks questions, shows initiative, and wants to learn our business.
• Communication: Excellent written communication skills and professional email etiquette.

salary: $25 - $27 per hour

Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Order Management: Enter, track, and manage customer orders from inception through to successful distribution.
• Data Verification (3-Way Match): Meticulously match supplier data, internal company data, and customer purchase orders to ensure 100% accuracy before processing.
• Customer Communication: Act as the primary liaison for customers, handling inquiries, updates, and order confirmations primarily via professional email communication.
• Process Adaptation: Adapt to and execute varying workflows based on specific supplier requirements and divisional guidelines (including billing/invoicing procedures for our IRI division).
• Digital Record Keeping: Maintain orderly, accurate digital files using our paperless filing system.
