About the Position

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience. Candidates must have BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Experience in LTAC is preferred. Neuro experience is essential for this role. The schedule is based on a night shift, working 4x12-hour shifts. A call rotation will support weekend coverage. The nursing staff will be primarily responsible for patients aged 18 and older. Daily census will involve managing up to 35 patients. Interdisciplinary support will include specialists in physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. The unit will provide comprehensive care for a variety of complex conditions, including ventilator weaning and wound care. Staffing will involve working in both ICU and Med-Surg settings. Travel nurses with recent experience are encouraged to apply. All candidates must have experience with Epic EMR and demonstrate appropriate competencies. Candidates should be prepared to float to other units as required. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and interdisciplinary teams.
