Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Neuro Stepdown Nurse to provide specialized care for patients transitioning from ICU to general units. The ideal candidate will manage complex neurological cases and ensure patient safety during recovery.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer and monitor medications and therapies to neuro and telemetry patients.
  
  
• 
  Assess patient conditions regularly and update care plans accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate effective patient care.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and interventions.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions and post-discharge care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid CA RN License with Nursys verification within the past 2 weeks.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS and AHA or ARC certifications with valid expiration dates.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years experience in Stepdown or Telemetry units with neuro patient care.
  
  
• 
  Experience on combination units handling both Stepdown and Telemetry patients preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced acute care settings.
  
  
• 
  Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
