Material Handler (Contract)

Job Overview Responsible for supporting warehouse operations by performing receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping tasks, while ensuring accurate inventory control and compliance with company procedures. Responsibilities Receive vendor purchase orders, verify carton counts, and match to airway bills or bills of lading. Enter purchase orders into SAP, bag and label items, and match goods receipt documents to parts. Stock parts using handheld scanners according to warehouse procedures. Pick delivery notes in priority order using handheld scanners. Pack and ship shipments in SAP, ensuring proper packaging and prioritizing customer requirements. Maintain accurate records and complete all required forms and documents. Follow safety and quality standards for all warehouse transactions. Qualifications Education - High school diploma or equivalent. Experience - Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience; prior SAP experience is preferred. Licensure/Certifications - None required. Travel - 0% domestic and international. Citizenship - Authorized to work in the U.S. Clearance - None. Required Skills Effective verbal and written communication. Strong customer service orientation. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with computer systems; SAP skills preferred. Physical Requirements Onsite only; able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs (23 kg). Operate warehouse material‑handling equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers. Proficient in reading and interpreting electronic equipment and documents. Wear required PPE including safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, respirator/masks, gloves as appropriate.
