Position Responsibilities Oversee all sales activities for hotel products, services, and banquet facilities to drive occupancy and revenue. Develop and implement annual budgets, marketing plans, and action plans focused on building extended-stay business. Track market trends and competitor activities, communicating significant changes to the General Manager and Regional leadership. Conduct proactive solicitation calls and property tours to secure new accounts and maintain existing client relationships. Prepare detailed proposals and group bookings while ensuring seamless communication with other hotel departments. Monitor guest satisfaction through follow-up calls and surveys to ensure high service standards. Lead and supervise sales department staff, providing training and performance appraisals. Position Requirements 3-5 years of hospitality sales experience (Associate's degree) or 1-2 years of experience with a Bachelors degree. Strong preference for candidates with extended-stay experience. Proven track record in a Sales Manager or Director of Sales capacity. Ability to learn and master hotel-specific software and Marriott-specific systems. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Flexibility to work in a solo sales environment with potential for future team expansion. Compensation Package Details Base Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 per year.
