CTDI also has a global footprint with more than 20,000 employees worldwide.We are currently hiring a Non-CDL Truck Driver (also known as Box Truck Driver, Local Delivery Driver, or Straight Truck Driver) to drive a small truck to transport cargo to and from destinations within the immediate local area.Non-CDL Truck Driver - LOCAL - HOME DAILY - OVER-TIME AVAILABLEPosition: Non-CDL Truck Driver1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to FridayPay: starting at $20.13Hours: 40-50 hours per weekOvertime: 40-50 hours per weekPay Schedule: Weekly paycheck (every Thursday)Duties and ResponsibilitiesInspects the truck pre- and post-trip.Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports.Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit.Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents.Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing them company positively.Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills and Experience1+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience or willing to complete a company driving training programValid state-issued driver's license, with a clean driving record.Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.Good hand-eye coordination.Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plusStrong commitment to customer serviceEducational RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPhysical Demands and Working ConditionsThe ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessaryFlexible early morning shiftsComfortable sitting for extended periodsYou will love working in our family-oriented company!
