Special Procedures Tech

Unit has 4 holding spaces. When fully staffed, team consists of 5 RNs, 4 techs, and 1 PCT. Day shift team includes 2 RNs, 3 techs, and 1 PCT. Patient ratios depend on staffing levels. Equipment used includes Phillips Biplane. EMR system in place is Meditech. Conduct typical procedures such as PICC, C-lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, embolizations, filter placements, and neuro biopsies. Ideal candidates are multi-taskers who can adjust to change easily. Team players who are friendly and collaborative will fit well in this role. Dress code consists of hospital-provided scrubs. Weekend and on-call requirements include after-hours on weekdays and 24-hour coverage on weekends.
